This is perfect not only for photos but more for video. I’ve used it for a facebook live video and it was totally awesome. No more glaring light from my diy lamp. The light was good all around.
The 8” ring light is huge but is very light. At first I tried using the tripod that came with the package but eventuay I didn’t trust the tripod it came with as I was mounting my iphone xs max as well, I was afraid the small tripod will topple over if I inadvertently nodge it during working.
At the end, I used a proper camera tripod for more stability. The adaptor snapped in place as well, just remove the rubber inside.
